WHEN I SAW THIS A COUPLE WEEKS AGO I ALMOST DIED AT HOW PERFECT THIS IS
“I sing the song “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast everyday while I walk home from school.
“When I was a 4 year old boy, my older sister made me watch Beauty and the Beast with her nearly every day for the whole summer. I’ve always resented her a little for that.”
“I feel like I relate to Belle so much, we both are so different from everyone else, yet we don’t try to be different, we are just ourselves. Whenever I have trouble with my anxiety, or I just have a bad day, I pop “Beauty and the Beast” in and I feel like a little girl again. I feel like the girl waltzing around in a gold ballgown with my prince”
“I hate it when people say that they wished the Beast would have stayed a beast. It’s one thing to dislike the character design of the prince but to say that you wish he’d stayed a beast? He’d be trapped in his castle for the rest of his life living in the body of a monster, being unable to marry, consummate or conceive a child with the woman he loved. His servants would remain household objects forever, unable to even die. To me that isn’t a happy ending at all. That’s a tragedy.”
